Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" the American as the combatants confronted each other to promote next month's heavyweight fight.
Former two-time world title holder Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
Despite those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's greatest financial successes, regularly earning huge paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in rounds four or five and asserted he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul met for the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how surprising this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is actually proceeding.
